John Jackson

Burlington, NC John Andrew Jackson, age 91, of 2708 Holly Hill Lane went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 30, 2006 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. He was a native of Virginia and the husband of the late Flossie Henegar Jackson. John was a retired carpenter and a member of Grove Park Baptist Church. Survivors include his son, John Lee Jackson of the home; brother and sister-in-law, Dan Lee Jackson and his wife Dot of Burlington; eleven nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, Ivey and Hattie Terrell Jackson; sisters, Nellie Jackson, Myrtle Webster and Nannie Mae Johnson; brothers, Albert S. Jackson, Fletcher B. Jackson and Aubrey Thomas Jackson. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at Alamance Memorial Park by Dr. Eugene Hunsinger and Mr. Bill Vickrey.
