John Murray

Graham, NC John Robert Murray, age 69, of Cannon Street died on Tuesday, October 30, 2007 at UNC Hospital. He was a native of Alamance County and of the Methodist faith. John retired from the Cty of Graham after 20 years and was a US Navy veteran. Survivors include his niece, Robin Bare and her husband, Earl of Graham; great nephew, Joshua Bare of Graham; cousin, Sylvia Foster and her husband, Ray of Saxe, Virginia; uncle, Ernest Murray and his wife, Gaynelle of Burlington and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Murray Daniels. A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 2, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Graham Memorial Park by Rev. Randy Haynes and military honors will be provided by the US Navy. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. on Thursday at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at the home of the niece, 2833 South NC Hwy 87, Lot. # 3, Graham, NC 27253.
