Johnny Bullington

Johnny Carl Bullington, 76, passed away on Monday, October 4, 2021, at 10:10 pm, at the AuthoraCare Hospice Home of Alamance. He was born August 24, 1945 to the late Grady Johnson and Mozelle Hancock Bullington of Alamance County.

Johnny retired from AT&T Alcatel Lucent after 35 years of service.  He served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War as a Submariner for 7-1/2 years. Johnny attended NC State University as well as MIT. Johnny enjoyed camping with his family and friends, fishing, watching Westerns and having a Winston cigarette with a Miller Light.

Johnny is survived by his children:  Johnny Carl Bullington, Jr. and companion, Michelle of Saratoga, NY; Suzanne Brennan and companion, Frank of Balston Spa, NY; Joseph Hancock Bullington and fiancée,  Kaitlyn Blackwell of Burlington; grandchildren: Jimmy Brennan and Kylie Brennan and Lydia Bullington; great-grandson Lincoln Brennan; brother, Kendall Bullington of New Port, NC; and sister, Kay Hunt of Thomasville, NC; numerous nieces and nephews that he loved dearly; and the love of his life, Kimberly Bullington, and step-daughter Aaron Cardwell.

Along with his parents, Johnny was preceded in death by his sister, Joan Broadway and a brother, Terry Bullington.  Also preceded in death is his friend and companion, Bonnie Pritchett.

A memorial will be held at the family’s home at a later date. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at AuthoraCare Hospice of Alamance County.
