Joni Gwen Barbour Fisher

Mrs. Joni Gwen Barbour Fisher, 69 of Burlington passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2024, at AuthoraCare Collective Hospice after weeks of failing health. Joni was a native of Alamance County and was the daughter of the late Hermon Barbour and Evelyn Joyce White. She was married for 40 years to Gary Fisher and was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Joni loved her family, especially her grandchildren which always made her smile. She loved her dog Rose and enjoyed having her by her side.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Gary Fisher; daughter, Samantha Forman (Jullian); stepdaughters, Carla Crouse (Danny); Brandy Price (Tim); grandchildren Ashton, Van, Preston, Autumn, Nathan, Greyson, Bethany. & Mary. Two special nieces Jolie & Maggie Tingen. She was preceded in death by her parents & sister Patsy Tingen.

The family will have a private memorial. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to AuthoraCare Collective Hospice, 914 Chapel Hill Rd. Burlington NC, 27215 or The American Cancer Society.
