Judith Ellison

Mrs. Judith Ann Layne Ellison, age 68, of 1728 Rock Creek Dairy Rd., died Thursday, May 17, 2012 at Wesley Long Community Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Gallipolis, OH, she was the daughter of the late Marshall and Eliza Jane Layne and was married to the late Melvin Lee Ellison. She was a long time employee of Family Dollar at the Burlington and Haw River locations. Mrs. Ellison is survived by her daughter, Teresa Wykle of Whitsett; a son, Craig Ellison and his wife, Tiffany, of South Carolina; two grandchildren, Ariel Wykle and Cody Ellison; a brother, Wilbur Smith of Alabama; a sister-in-law, Natella Archer of Whitsett; and a special friend, Murray Broder of Whitsett.
