Julia Barbee

Burlington Julia Goodnight Barbee, 80, passed away Sunday, December 15, 2013 at her home surrounded my her family. She was born in Rowan County to the late Paul Barringer Goodnight and the late Mary Allen Litaker Goodnight and was married to the late Ralph Henry Barbee. Julia retired from Harris Teeter. Survivors include her daughter, Linda B. Russell; grandson, Dr. Alan Russell and wife Robin; great granddaughter, Michelle Russell all of Burlington; sisters, Carolyn Sweatt and Jeanie Fisher both of Kannapolis; brother, Edward Goodnight of Concord. There will be a private service at a later date. Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell, 918 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215.
