Julia Faucette

Burlington, NC Julia Dickey Faucette, age 85, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 9, 2011 at the Hospice Home surrounded by her family. She was a native of Alamance County and the wife of the late William Millard Faucette. Julia retired from the Alamance County School System and was a home care sitter for shut-ins for many years. She was a member of Carolina Christian Church and the Lady's Sunday School class and also a member of The Heart Seniors Fellowship .She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her daughter, Bonnie F. Perry and her husband, Linwood of Forest City, NC; nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her husband and her son, Kenneth Ray Faucette; great great grandson, Joshua Quintin Faucette and her parents, Ernest Robert Dickey and Cora Trollinger Dickey. A service to celebrate her life will be held on Monday, July 11, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. at Carolina Christian Church by Rev. Mark Mitchell and the burial will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:30 until 3:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
