June Massey Graham, 69, passed away at her home on Friday, June 20, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on November 20, 1955, in Rockingham County, she was the daughter of the late Rev. Felton Massey and Edna Price Massey and was married for over 18 years to Randy Michael Graham, who survives.
June was a radiant soul, known for her unwavering commitment to friends and family. She was a person who would do anything for anyone, frequently putting the needs of others before her own. With a knack for making everyone feel special, she never met a stranger; her warmth and kindness were expressed through her unique habit of asking for names to address each person personally upon their next meeting. This genuine interest in the lives of those around her created lasting connections and fond memories.
June worked for over 30 years in management in the Cosmetic Industry, but her love extended beyond her professional sphere into her cherished hobbies. June found peace while spending time in the woods, enjoying the serenity that nature provided. A lover of reading and crossword puzzles, she also took great joy in nurturing her flower garden. Above all, she relished her role as "Nana," finding immense delight in spending time with her grandchildren.
She leaves behind her adoring husband, Randy Michael Graham, whom she cherished deeply. June is survived by her loving daughters; Alex Brown and her husband Tom, and Jordan Parker, stepchildren; Crystal Hurteau, Stephanie Reed, and Brianna Graham, grandchildren; Westin Brown, and step-grandchildren, David Hurteau, Ethan Graham, McKenzie Steele, Nevaeh Hernandez, and Khloe Graham, sister, Darlene Ray and her husband Harold. She was preceded in death by her parents; Rev. Felton Massey and Edna Price Massey and a sister; Kathy Wilkinson.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses at UNC Oncology, especially Dr. Moschos and nurse Paula, that took such great care of June during her illness.
A funeral service to celebrate June’s life will be held at 4:00PM on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 in the chapel at Lowe Funeral Home by Pastor Darrell Massey. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. It is a time to reflect on the love and joy she brought into each of our lives and share stories that celebrate the exceptional woman she was.
