June Satterfield Hall

Mrs. June Satterfield Hall, 79, of Elon, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 8, 2022 at her home.

June was born January 30, 1943 in Alamance County to the late Roy and Mary Ruth Satterfield.  She was a longtime member of Altamahaw Baptist Church and retired after many years of service at LabCorp.  In 1964, she married Dr. James L. Hall, who precedes her in death.  She loved to spend time outdoors working in her flowers and always had a beautiful yard. She was an animal lover, and shared her home with many special pets over the years. Most of all, June was a kind soul with a huge heart who always looked at the positive in life and will be deeply missed by her family.

June is survived by her daughter, Bonnie Thornton of Elon; son, Michael Hall and wife Amy of Greensboro; grandchildren, Adam Ayers, Abigail Ayers, Taylor Whittington and wife Kaytee, and Aleah Whittington; and two great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, April 14 at 11 AM at Alamance Memorial Park with Dr. Steve Tucker officiating.
