Katherine Naylor

BURLINGTON- Katherine Doss Naylor, 88, formerly of May Dr., died Thursday, November 25, 2010 at Liberty Commons Nursing Center Center after several years of failing health. A native of Sycamore, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Nollie W. and Edith Holley Doss and was married for over 63 years to Jerome N. Naylor, Sr. Katherine was of the Baptist faith, she enjoyed cooking as well. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Mrs. Naylor is survived by her two sons, Jerome N. Naylor, Jr. and his wife, Linda, of Graham and Dr. David Naylor and his wife, Pam, of Haw River; seven grandchildren, Jeanette Rick Jackson, Holly Eric Sturges, Larissa Thomas Davis, Sharon Jeff Brenner, Jerome "Jerry" Naylor III, Kaitlyn Naylor, and Kyle Naylor; a brother James Doss of Danville, VA, and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and twelve siblings. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Monday, November 29, 2010 at Alamance Memorial Park by Pastor Jon Helton. There will be no visitation, the family will be at the home of Jerome Naylor, Jr., 2345 Knightdale Dr., Graham.
