Kay Anderson

Burlington – Linda Kay Staley Anderson, 77 went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 28, 2020 at her home.  She was born in Alamance County on April 23, 1943 to the late Billy Max and Nannie Irene Jones Staley.

Kay retired from Duratread Hosiery and was currently employed with her extended family at Custom Floral Creations.

She is survived by her son, Billy Wayne Anderson and wife, Jennifer, of Elon; step grandchildren, Neil, Elizabeth and Amy Kernodle; adopted grandchildren, Bryce, Walker, Daniel, Hunter, Anna and Brayden; sisters, Sudy Crowson of Burlington and Dianne Kirkman and husband, Joe of Liberty. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Jerry Anderson and a sister, Judy Hawn.

The funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 3, 2020 at 2:00PM at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Eric Rudd. The burial will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery. Kay will be available for viewing from 1-5PM on Saturday and prior to the service at the funeral home. The service will be live streamed on our website below.
