Kristina Dawn Kullberg

Kristina Dawn Kullberg, 33, of Burlington, passed peacefully surrounded by family on August 19, 2025 at Duke Medical Center.

Kristina was born August 28, 1991 in South Carolina to Domingo Kullberg and Kimberly Ingle (Fields). Growing up, Kristina lived in many states including SC, NH, GA, and VA before spending most of her life in NC. She enjoyed cooking and trying new recipes, trips to the mountains, and had a taste for fine wine and exquisite cuisine. Some of her favorite memories were made taking trips to Disneyworld, including getting engaged there in December 2022. To know Kristina was to know she loved dressing up for Halloween, cherished the holidays spent with loved ones, would never turn down a cold root beer, and most of all, her endless love for animals, especially her pets. Her compassion and commitment to animals was very near and dear to her heart. She volunteered at the animal shelter in Burlington, leading her to adopt her soulcat, Loki, and was very involved in conservation efforts through the North Carolina Zoo in Asheboro, NC.

Kristina is survived by her loving fiancé, Perry Anspach; her parents, Domingo Kullberg and Kimberly Dawn Ingle (Fields); her step-father, Alan Ingle; her brother and his wife, Erik Kullberg and Emy Veeser; her aunt, uncle, and cousins, Jennifer (Fields), Chris, Brian, Morgan, and Adam Joines; her uncle, aunt, and cousins, Andy, Darlene, Kimberly, Andrew, and Caroline Kullberg; grandfather, Andrew Kullberg; and many other extended family members. She was predeceased by her Abuela, Angeles Kullberg; and her Nana, Dianne Moore.
