Lawrence Edward Talley

Lawrence Edward Talley, 83, of Burlington, went home on Saturday, August 27, 2022.  He was the son of the late Noel Junius Talley and Fannie Gravitte Talley.  He leaves behind his wife of 59 years, Cornellia Tatum Talley.

Lawrence retired from Burlington Industries Transportation Division.

In addition to his wife, he leaves behind many nieces and nephews and his Godchild, Paula Compton Crabtree, to cherish his memory.

He was predeceased by brothers, Gravitte, E. Macon, Roy, and Lloyd Talley; sisters, Hazel Bowman, Joy Jeffreys, Lucille Thomas, Juanita Grizzle and Elizabeth Talley

A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Thursday, September 1, 2022 at Alamance Memorial Park with Pastor Rodney “Charlie Brown” Staley officiating.
