Linda Brown

Linda Paulette Wheeley Brown, 67, passed away Saturday, June 25, 2011. She was born November 8, 1943 in Alamance County to the late Paul and Nina Henderson Wheeley. Linda had retired from J-Lin Hosiery as the co-owner secretary and was a member of Altamahaw Baptist Church. She was a fun loving and supportive mother, grandmother and sister who will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Survivors include her sons; Dean Brown and his wife Carol, Ted Brown and his wife Sherri all of Burlington, grandsons; Joshua Dean Brown, Jeffrey Scott Brown, Chad Carson Brown, sisters; Gloria Ashley and her husband Jerry, Cathy Terrell and her husband Danny and a brother Mike Wheeley and his wife Wanda all of Graham. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Phillip Wheeley. The funeral will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Dr. Steve Tucker. Entombment will follow in Alamance Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Monday at Lowe Funeral Home and at other times at the home of Ted Brown, 1345 Carlton Ave., Memorials may be made to Christmas Cheer, 331 S.
