Linda Fay Grizzle

Linda Faye Cross Grizzle, age 84, of Burlington, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 16, 2026. She was born in Caswell County to the late Jack Lindsey and Emma Ezell Arnold Cross. She was the wife of 29 years to the late George Elliott Grizzle who died in 2022.

Linda retired from Culp Weaving and was a member of Grace Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her family and wanted to make sure everyone knew the Lord. Linda was a devoted mother, wife, grandmother and great grandmother. Linda was also known as Maw Maw to everyone she came into contact with.

Mom wanted her family to know her wishes. That is to get your heart right with Jesus and love one another, be there for each other even if you aren’t getting along. She wants to see all of you in Heaven. Get back in church and live your life for Jesus. Forgive each other and always love one another. If you don’t know how to be saved let someone know and they can pray with you about asking Jesus into your heart. Wait a minute- Maw Maw loves you!

The funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, July 19, 2026 at Grace Baptist Church by Rev. John Crews. The burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-6PM on Saturday at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory and other times at the home of her daughter, Jeanette Walker in Haw River.
