Elon-Linda Erickson Hamlin, 72 passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at the Hospice Home surrounded by her family. She was born in Worcester, Massachusetts to the late Edwin and Alberta Erickson. She was the wife of 29 years to Arthur “Art” Herbert Hamlin who survives.

Linda and her husband owned and operated Hamlin Psychotherapy Association. She loved life and was passionate about all her pursuits. Linda enjoyed dancing, aerobics, cooking and Ichibana “Japanese Flower Arranging”, interior decorating and hosting parties for family and friends. She mentored young women serving with the Big Sister program while living in Florida. Linda was very health conscious and focused on various areas of nutrition. In her leisure time she enjoyed reading and traveling with her husband.

She is survived by her husband, Arthur “Art” Herbert Hamlin of the home; daughter, Lisa May Golov of Easthampton, Mass; granddaughters, Cassandra Castillo and husband, Nathan and Anna Chrestenden; step daughter, Lindsey Sarah Hamlin and her husband, Bradley Robinson of Arlington, South Dakota: step son, Bett Eric Hamlin and wife, Fon of San Francisco, California; brother, Paul Erickson of Minneapolis, Minnesota.

A graveside service to celebrate her life will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, September 25, 2020 at Magnolia Cemetery in Elon.
