Linda Suitt

Linda Shambley Suitt, 73,  went to be with her Lord and Savior July 14th, 2021 after a lengthy battle with cancer. A native of Alamance County, she was the daughter of Jasper Thomas Shambley and Opal Joyce Walker both deceased. She and her husband had recently relocated to Navarre Beach, FL to be with their family.

Linda was a devout Christian who loved the Lord. She was always ready to lend a helping hand to others and loved her family beyond measure. Nothing brought her more joy than that of her great-grandchildren. A graduate of Walter Williams High School she enjoyed cooking, traveling, reading, shopping, entertaining friends but most of all spending time with her family.

Linda is survived by her husband William Dale Suitt of the home; a daughter Pam Suitt Taylor of Navarre Beach, FL; a granddaughter Dana Roxanne Stuart and her husband Zachary Stuart both of Navarre Beach, FL and three great-grandchildren, Faithlyn, Chase and Charlie Stuart all of Navarre Beach, FL.  She was preceded in death by one brother Alvin Lee Shambley.

The family has chosen not to have a memorial service but a celebration of life will be held for family and close friends in the Burlington area at a time to be later announced.
