Lorene Sipe

Lorene Dunn Sipe, 86, of 1719 South Mebane Street died Tuesday, June 6, 2006 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. She was the wife of the late James Everette Ed Sipe to whom she was married 56 years. She was the daughter of the late Riley Clifton and Sarah Elizabeth Gaines Dunn. She was a native of Chatham County and a member of the First Baptist Church of Graham. Lorene was a special lady who never had a bad word to say about anyone. She loved her family and friends, loved to travel and collect coins. She is survived by a sister, Sally D. Maness and her husband James S. Maness of Siler City, several neices and nephews, and special friends Tom and Margaret Mansfield. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and a sister Margie Graham. The funeral service will be held at 2:00pm Thursday, June 8, 2006 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Dr. David S. Kolb. Burial will follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8pm Wednesday night June 7, 2006 at the Funeral home.
