Mrs. Louise Sipe Rogers, age 88, formerly of Granville St., passed away on Monday, July 8, 2019 at Peak Resources of Alamance after several years of failing health.

Born in Iredell County, she was the daughter of the late Perry Sidney Sipe and the late Carrie Freeze Sipe and was married for over 50 years to William Nicks “Billy” Rogers, who passed in 2010.  She retired after many years of service from Burlington Industries Mayfield Plant and was a longtime member of Lowe Memorial Baptist Church.

Mrs. Rogers is survived by her sister-in-law, Charlotte Sipe and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; two brothers, Frank Sipe and Clyde Sipe and his wife, Clara.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Darrel Massey.  Interment will be at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 10:45 AM Wednesday prior to the service at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lowe Memorial Baptist Church, 1712 W Webb Ave, Burlington, NC 27217.
