Lucy Brewer

Deltona, Florida – Lucy Graves Brewer, 95, passed away after a critical illness of one week. She was formerly a resident of Burlington, NC for many years. She was born on April 17, 1925 in Lexington, NC to the late Herbert Charles Moody and Lucy Beatrice Sowers Graves. She was the wife of the late Kenneth Rayvon Brewer.

She is survived by her daughters, Tamara Almeyda and husband, Socrates of Deltona, FL and her sons, Charles R. Brewer and wife, Kathy of Mebane and Kenneth T.  Brewer of Sanford, FL; 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; brothers, Tommy Graves of High Point, Johnny Graves of High Point and Joe Graves of Opp, Alabama; sisters, Jerry Hancock of Brandon, FL, Rita Rhew of Ocala, Fl and Annetta Kelly of High Point, NC. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, daughter, Crystal Wood; brothers, Merrill and Stevie Graves; sister, Billie Ellison.

The funeral service will be held on Monday, January 4, 2021 at 10:00am at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel and burial to follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The service will be live streamed and available for viewing on our website below.
