Marguerite Glover Garner

Mrs. Marguerite Glover Garner, 79, of Burlington, NC passed away on Thursday, November 30^th, 2023 following a year-long illness.  Marguerite was born in Jefferson County, GA; one of fourteen siblings blessed to the late Nelson Glover and the late Bessie May Glover. 

Following her retirement from Kayser Roth Hosiery in Burlington, Marguerite enjoyed traveling the US, taking many RV trips and spending time with family visiting the beaches of North Carolina, South Carolina and Florida.  She also enjoyed spending time at her FL home with many friends.    

In addition to her parents, Marguerite was preceded in death by sisters Lynette Pulliam Meeks, Annette Peavy, Virginia Fox and Marian Teuton.

Marguerite is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Jerry Garner; sons Dean Garner (Diane) of Burlington, NC and Michael Garner (Emme) of Lake Mary, FL; granddaughters, Molly Garner, Kerry Garner, and Heather Allred; great grandson, Garner Allred; siblings, Evelyn Petrea, Betty Brooks, Charles Glover, Mickey Rudolph, Janice Richardson, Marinelle Thomas, Glenda Shields, Danny Glover, Beth Thomas.

A memorial service will be held at Lowe Funeral Home in Burlington, NC on December 9^th, 2023 at 11 AM.  Reverend John Shields will officiate.  The family would like to welcome family and friends at the home following services.
