Marshall Yarbrough, Jr.

Burlington- Marshall Foch "Sonny" Yarbrough, Jr., 65, passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at UNC Chapel Hill following a lengthy illness. A native of Alamance County, he was the son of the late Marshall Foch and Sally Long Yarbrough, Sr. Mr. Yarbrough was employed with Utz Quality Foods. One of his joys in life was riding his motorcycle. He was a loving father, grandfather and brother. He is survived by his son, Terry Yarbrough and wife, Sharon of Burlington; daughter, Samantha Yarbrough of Wilmington; grandchildren, Brook Yarbrough, Briannie Watson, Thomas Watson, Cody Yarbrough, Kentrell Oliver, Kamya Jones, Cory Jones and Shaun Jones; sisters, Patricia "Sissy" McDaniel and husband Danny of Pittsboro, Michele Dalrymple of Haw River and Tracy Howell and husband, Donnie of Graham, Sue Woods and husband, Terry of Wilson and Judy Wishert and husband, Jim of Morganton and brothers, Dennis Mark Yarbrough and wife Terri of Gibsonville and James Phillip "Phil" Yarbrough and wife, Laurie of Gibsonville. He was preceded in death by his parents. A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday, January 20, 2013 at Alamance Memorial Park by Pastor Darrell Massey with the burial to follow. The family will receive friends 4-6pm Saturday at Lowe Funeral Home and other times at the home of his sister, Tracy Howell in Graham.
