Mary Colandrea DeFalco, 78, passed peacefully at home, surrounded by the love of her favorite people.
She was predeceased by the love of her life, her husband, Phillip DeFalco.
Thirty-Three years ago, Mary lost her soulmate. She grieved deeply, then found the strength to continue living the life she knew he would have wanted for her. She embraced every adventure, traveling the world and experiencing beautiful places, cultures, and unforgettable memories. Adventurous by nature, she even went skydiving for her 70th birthday.
Mary loved the beach – the feeling of warm sand between her toes and the saltwater on her skin. When she wasn’t traveling, she found joy in cooking for her family, enjoying a great cup of coffee and a cigarette, and relaxing with her favorite cooking shows and movies.
Mary lived life on her own terms. She did what made her happy, loved fiercely, laughed often, and created a lifetime of cherished memories. We couldn’t have asked for anything more.
Now, she is reunited with her soulmate and rests in peace. She will be forever loved.
Honoring her wishes, no services will be held.
“A life well-lived, a heart well-loved.”
