Burlington – Mary Ann Stallings Honeycutt, 77, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital. She was born in Eagle Rock, Virginia on August 3, 1945 to the late Daniel Coley and Bertha Mae Biggs Stallings and was the wife of 60 years to Dannie Lee Honeycutt of the home.

Mary Ann was a longtime member of Shiloh Methodist Church.  She loved art, poetry, dancing, bowling and wildlife photography. 

Survivors include her husband, Dannie; daughters, Janet Marie Foust (Steve), Pamela Dee Paynter, Lora Hurley (David Beard); six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Sylvia Spencer; brother-in-law, Ted Spencer and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.  She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Nancy Jones and brother-in-law, Marvin Jones.

A service to celebrate her life will be held 2:00pm on Sunday, November 20, 2022 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by her nephew Mr. Keith Jones.  The family will receive friends following the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family in care of Lowe Funeral Home.
