Mary Maas Jinkins

Mary Maas Jinkins, 76, passed away peacefully at her home on July 22, 2025 surrounded by her family. She was born on March 15, 1949, in Morris County, New Jersey, to the late William Charles Maas and Jane Honsberger Maas. Mary was married to the love of her life Neil Stanford Jinkins, recently celebrating their 50th anniversary at their favorite restaurant. Mary was a loving and devoted mother to Leianne Jinkins Bowers.

Mary was an avid volunteer within her community and her church. Mary started Open Door Clinic of Alamance County, to serve the local residents. Mary volunteered countless hours coordaining and fundraising for the Open-Door Clinic and other causes and charities close to her heart - improving the lives of those most in need in the community and those around her.

Mary is survived by her loving husband, Neil, her beloved daughter, Leianne and her husband Michael; her brothers, John Maas and Jeff Maas, his wife Ann, and several nieces and nephews. She has now been reunited with her devoted parents, whose love and guidance shaped the person Mary became; her sisters, Jane Maas and Nancy Herudek, and her brothers, Bill Maas and Jim Maas. Her legacy will endure through the memories cherished by those who loved her and the lives she touched.

The funeral mass to celebrate the life of Mary will be held at 11:00am Friday, July 25, 2025 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church by Father Peter Tremblay. The family will receive friends and visitors from 10am to 10:45am Friday prior to the service. Mary will be buried at a private service on Saturday at Alamance Memorial Park Mausoleum.
