Matilda Frazier

Matilda Ann Oliver Frazier, 93, left her earthly home to join her beloved William on January 1, 2021.

Born in Alamance County, she lived most of her life in Caswell County and was married to the late William Taylor Frazier for over 67 years before his death in 2014. Tillie was a wife, homemaker and a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved flower gardening, doll collecting and cooking for her family. She had a passion for travel and her late husband always kidded that her middle name was "go".

Prior to her death, Tillie was a resident of Alamance House in the memory care unit. The family would like to thank the staff of Alamance House and her nurse, Leigh Davis, and April and Sandra with AuthoraCare Hospice for the compassionate care of their mother.

Left to cherish her memory are a daughter, Rhonda F. Young of Burlington; a son, Steve Frazier and his wife, Debbie of Graham;  grandchildren, Brandon Young, Barrett Overman and wife, Tiffany, Brent Young and wife, Cathy, Joni Overman, Stephanie Isley and husband, John and Lindsay Murray and husband, Jay; great-grandchildren, Bridget Hall and husband Johnny, Bodhi Isley, Hunter Frazier, Marina Isley, Aubrie Overman and Luke Overman; brother, Vance Oliver and his wife, Dora of Gibsonville; a sister, Barbara Phillips; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Frazier; a daughter, Linda Overman; son-in-law, Gary N. Young; parents, William Thomas and Henrietta Bradner Oliver; four brothers, Wilson, Bradner, Roy and Tom Oliver; and three sisters, Nancy Smith, Martha Key and Mary Jobe.
