Matthew Kincaid Robinson

Mr. Matthew Kincaid Robinson, 35, of Charlotte, passed away Sunday, January 1, 2023.

Matt was born July 13, 1987 in Alamance County.  He was a light to those around him.  Always respectful and helpful to others, he was a friend to everyone and never looked down on anybody.  He loved to spend time at the beach with his family and his big, goofy laugh could be heard by all around.  Most of all, he loved his family and they will cherish the good memories they have of times spent together.  Matt was preceded in death by his father, Charles F. Robinson; grandmother, “Granny B” Virginia Baynard; and grandparents, Doris and Gene Robinson.

Matt is survived by his mother, Tina Kincaid Pickard; stepfather, Sam Pickard (or as Matthew liked to say, “no step between us”); sister, Jen Stafford and husband Brennan; aunts, Tommie Jo Garner, Kitty Kincaid, and Dawn Chester; and several special cousins.

A celebration of Matt’s life will be held Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at 4 PM at First Baptist Church of Elon.
