Mrs. Maude Eller Tinnin Andrews, 90, formerly of McConnell Rd., died Thursday, September 28, 2006 at The Evergreens Senior Healthcare. A native of Orange County, she was the daughter of the late Albert Edgar Tinnin, Sr. and the late Gracie Vincent Tinnin and was married to the late Percy Calvin Andrews, who died in 1978. She was a member of Mt. Hope United Church of Christ and was a homemaker and farmer. Mrs. Andrews is survived by a daughter, Jo Ann Andrews Gauldin of Whitsett; a son, Jesse Andrews of Whitsett; five grandchildren, Janet G. Tom Harrelson, Terry S. Beth Gauldin, Jane Andrews Phil Fittante, Lisa Andrews Scott Andrews, and Jesse James Andrews; four great grandchildren, Billy Gretchen Pruitt, Michael Fittante, Marianna Fittante, and Shelby Andrews; two sisters, Mary Connor of Maryland and Lowrene Dixon of Burlington; and a brother, Frank Eleanor Tinnin of Burlington. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; three sisters, Lillie Mae Thompson, Josephine Sykes, and Helen Workman; and two brothers, Robert Tinnin and Albert Tinnin, Jr. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, September 30, 2006 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. C. Allen Myers III. Interment will follow at Mt. Hope United Church of Christ Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Friday evening at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Mt. Hope U. C. C. Cemetery Endowment Fund, 2400 Mt. Hope Church Rd., Whitsett, NC 27377.
