Mazie Lowe

Mazie Ann Scoggin Lowe, 96, formerly of Steele St. in Gibsonville, passed away Monday October 10, 2005 at Burlington Manor after a short illness. She was the wife of the late Frank Lowe and the daughter of the late William Sidney and Cora Maxwell Scoggin. Mazie was a native of Guilford County, a homemaker and was the oldest living member of Friedens Lutheran Church. Survivors include her daughter-in-law Jeanette Hyde Lowe of Greensboro, sisters; Mrs. Maibelle Whitaker of Gibsonville, Mrs. Annie Yow of Gibsonville. She was preceded in death by a son Claude Lowe. The funeral will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Richard Rhodes and Rev. Raymond Petrea. Interment will follow in Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Tuesday at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. and at other times at the home of a sister Mrs. Annie Yow, 400 Steele St. # 18, Gibsonville.
