Mozelle Loy

Mozelle Gerringer Smith Loy, 87, formerly of Hub Mill Rd. went home to be with the Lord on Monday June 18, 2007 after several years of failing health. A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of the late Jimmie Alfred Smith and wife of Ralph Loy who survives. She was the daughter of the late Ogburn and Martha Elizabeth Loy Gerringer. She retired from Glen Raven Mills and was a life-time member of Bethlehem Christian Church where she was a member of the Morning Star Sunday school class. She is survived by her husband Ralph Loy; son, Alfred Smith; granddaughters, Andrea S. Moricle, Brandi S. Snyder, and Carlie Smith; great grandchildren, Hayleigh Moricle and Hayden Moricle; sister, Irene Lee. The funeral service will be held 11:00am Thursday, June 21, 2007 at Bethlehem Christian Church by Rev. Dave Gilbert. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8pm Wednesday at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and at other times at 3426-A Hub Mill Rd. Elon.
