Mrs. Nancy Lynch Hoffman Apple, 94, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 10, 2026.

Nancy was born September 19, 1931 in Guilford County to Theodore and Vera Hoffman. She worked for many years in the insurance business. She was a member of Aging in Action and of the Gibsonville Singing Seniors, and in her free time, enjoyed taking trips to the beach.

Nancy is survived by her sons, Timothy Apple and Kevin Apple; grandchildren, Amanda Newsome and Angela Nellis and husband Steven; and great-grandchildren, Aiden Newsome, Mason Newsome, and Kinsley Nellis. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Fred Loften “F.L.” Apple, Jr.; infant son, Terry L. Apple; great-grandchildren, Hollin Kate Nellis and Cadence Faith Nellis; and daughter in law, Paula Smith Apple.

A graveside service will be held at 1 PM on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at Alamance Memorial Park.
