Nancy Hill Chrisman

Nancy Hill Chrisman, 86, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 12, 2024 at the Beacon Place surrounded by her family. She was born on April 14, 1938 in Alamance County to the late Elmo Ernest Hill and Ethel Inez Mitchell Hill. Nancy was the wife of 54 years to the late Gary Lee Roy Chrisman who died in 2008.

 She retired after 30 years of service with Tower Hosiery Mill. Nancy was a devoted Christian lady who was a former member of Victory Worship Center and New Life Fellowship. She enjoyed being outside sitting on her front porch, but most of all she loved spending time with her family. Nancy was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend who will be dearly missed.

 Nancy is survived by her loving sons, Larry Chrismon and wife Marisa, and Mark Chrisman; a grandson, Dylan Chrisman; great grandchildren, Hayden Scott Hall and Ava Mae Chrisman; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; a grandson, Dakota Scott Chrisman; a brother, Guy Hill and her sisters, Doris Stultz, Peggy Handy, Bonnie Rivers and Melba Pegram.

 The family would like to express their appreciation for all the loving care and support that was given to Nancy during her illness from her caregivers, family members, Hospice nurses and staff that helped with Nancy while she was able to stay in her home and while she was at Beacon Place. 

 A graveside service to celebrate the life of Nancy will be held at 2:00pm Monday, September 16, 2024 at Gibsonville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00pm to 6:00pm Sunday at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory and other times at the residence and at the son, Larry’s home in Burlington.
