Nellie Pickett

Nellie Richardson Pickett, 73, formerly of Burlington, passed away on Friday, September 7, 2012. She was born in Pittsylvania County, VA to the late Charlie P. and Mary Sue Yeatts Richardson and was married to the late Oliver "Ollie' Aldeen Pickett. She was a former employee of Burlington Industries. She is survived her sons, Terry Adkins, Dean Adkins and Jimmy Adkins; nephew, Charlie Atkins; 6 grandchildren and sisters, Helen Crews and Rosa Osborne. The funeral will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Bennie Smith with interment to follow in Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
