Pamela Davis

Pamela Kay Cook Davis, 67, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 9, 2022 at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill after several years of failing health.  A native of Alamance County, she was born January 16, 1954 to the late Roy Daniel “Bill” Cook and Bennie “Sue” Louella Conklin Cook and was the wife of 19 years to Robert Lee Davis of the home.

Pam worked for Food Lion for nearly 30 years. She was a dedicated employee who was known for her outstanding work ethic.  She enjoyed traveling (especially to NY) and watching Hallmark Christmas movies.  Pam loved the Lord and exhibited this in the relationships she formed with others.  She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her husband, Robert; daughter, Leslie Ann Prince and husband Nathan; step daughters, Crystal Duncan and husband Enrique, Kara Allen and husband Jake; grandson, Connor Long; step grandchildren, Isaiah Prince, Emma Allen and James Allen and a sister, Linda Sue Wall.

A service to celebrate Pam’s life will be held at 12:00pm on Friday, January 14, 2022 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Darrell Massey and Mr. Mack Ray followed by a private interment at Alamance Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends from 10:30-11:45 prior to the service at the funeral home.
