Patricia Eileen Fisher Lynn known to her friends and family as "Pat," passed away at her home on Monday, July 20, 2026. Pat was born in Alamance County on January 21, 1950, to the late James Thomas Fisher and Doris Eileen Harder Fisher.
Throughout her life Patricia was a SIMS coordinator for Orange County Schools while also being a Testing Coordinator for both Orange and Alamance County schools. In 2006 she, alongside her daughter-in-law Sonya, opened and operated Sonya’s Kidz Depot child care center and was involved with the center for 15 years. Unfortunately, Patricia had to give up doing all of the things she loved the most due to Alzheimer’s. She fought very hard to stay present for as long as she could for at least 10 years following her diagnosis. Patricia was a kind soul who was known for her infectious laugh and her ability to never meet a stranger. She loved spending time with her family and friends whether it was for a child’s birthday, going to a race with her family, or just a dinner out with friends; she was always the life of the party. If she loved you, you felt it. Her hugs were always just what you didn’t know you needed and her smile would warm your heart because you knew that if it was coming from her, it was real. Everyone she met she cherished in a way that made you feel like the most important person in the world. She was a daughter, a sister, a mother, an aunt, a grandmother, but most importantly, a friend who would do anything for anyone. But the true center of her world was her son Jason. He was her “baby boy” and she made sure that everyone knew it. She wasn’t just a mama to Jason though, she was “mama” to all of his closest friends. When Jason married Sonya, she felt truly blessed but the biggest and brightest moment of her life is when her Mia Stella was born. She loved all of them with every fiber in her body. A love like that could never be forgotten or replaced, nor could a person like her. Until one day, when we meet you on the other side of that rainbow bridge.
Pat is survived by her son, Jason Lynn and his wife, Sonya, granddaughter, Mia Stella Lynn; brother, Anthony Fisher and his wife Lisa, and many nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Peggy Crawford, and a brother, Jimmy Fisher.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, on Saturday, August 1, 2026 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel. Family will receive friends from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM on Friday, July 31, 2026 at Lowe Funeral Home. Online condolences may be sent to www.lowefuneralhome.com.
