Paula Marie Thomas

Paula Marie Thomas, 56, of Pawley’s Island, SC, passed away Monday, September 12, 2022.

Paula was born December 16, 1965 to Paul and Marie Thomas.  Always independent, she moved to the beach after graduating high school, where she loved to walk on the beach early in the morning and collect shells.  Her passion was photography and having the creative traits that she did, also worked as an elementary school art teacher for several years.  She had a big heart and loved her family, especially her niece and nephews.  Paula was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Cleve and Hazel Thomas and maternal grandparents, Martin and Alberta Hill.

Paula is survived by her loving parents, Paul and Marie Thomas; sister, Teresa Thomas; brother, Ronald Thomas; niece, Amber Smith and husband, Michael; and nephews, Steven Thomas and fiancée, Summer Faircloth and Jacob Thomas.

A graveside service to celebrate Paula’s life will be held Sunday, September 18, 2022 at 2 PM at Gibsonville City Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Saturday, September 17, 2022 from 5 – 7 PM at Lowe Funeral Home.
