Peggie Robertson

Burlington, NC Peggie Gerringer Robertson, age 79, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at the Hospice Home surrounded by her family. She was a native of Alamance County and the wife of the late Arthur Winford "Pig" Robertson, Sr. Peggie was a member of St. Mark's Reformed Church and a member of the Circle Four Sunday School Class. She was a member of the TOPS and the Burlington Moose Lodge. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and sister. Survivors include her son, Arthur W. Robertson, Jr. of Burlington and a daughter, Beth Money and her husband, James of Reidsville; sisters, Doris Shue of Burlington and Cleone Tickle of Burlington and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur W. "Pig" Robertson, Sr.; her son, Mark Lee Robertson; parents, Robert Lee Gerringer and Sara Annie Jones Gerringer; brothers, Basil, Dwight Elmo and Robert Lee Gerringer and a sister, Gene Garrison. A service to celebrate her life will be held on Friday, March 18, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Mark's Reformed Church by Rev. Ben Bishop and the burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. on Thursday at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at the home.
