Peggy Wilson Martin Pugh

Peggy Dianne Wilson Martin Pugh, also known as “MeMaw”, 71, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at Compass Healthcare and Rehab. She was born on March 8, 1952 in Horry County, SC to the late Charles Hubert Wilson and Gladys Mae Fowler Wilson and was the wife to the late Glen Martin who died in 2012 and Robert Pugh who died in 2022.

Peggy was a homemaker, a childcare provider and was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed watching children in her home and considered all of them her family. Peggy was known for her good cooking and baking; she enjoyed watching her television and spending time with her family and friends.

Peggy is survived by a daughter, Janice Nicole Martin; her brothers, Larry Wilson and wife Li, Mike Wilson, Mark Wilson and wife Brenda, Keith Wilson and Kent Wilson and wife Ann; her extended family, Anna Hendren and B.J. Smith, Brooke Hendren, Cameron Carroll, Ryleigh Smith, Kaiden Smith, Tiffany Lattero, Alexio Lattero and Ava Lattero; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her two husbands, parents and siblings, Doris Gore, Horace Wilson, Charles Wilson and Ronnie Wilson.

The celebration of life service will be held at 4:00pm Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Will Middleton. The family will receive friends following the service.
