Phillip Pryor

Gibsonville – Phillip Wallace Pryor, 67, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, November 4, 2020.  He was born on June 6, 1953 in Baltimore County, Baltimore, Maryland to the late Woodrow Wilson Pryor and Mary Helen Wallace Pryor.

Phillip was retired from Burlington Industries at the Williamsburg Plant.  He was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church. He was a dedicated family man who loved his family.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to many who will be dearly missed.  He loved nothing more than spending time with his children and grandchildren.  His hobbies included hunting and fishing and teaching anyone who would listen about hunting and gun safety.

Phillip is survived by his wife of 48 years, Lynette Wade Pryor; daughters:  Phyllis Pryor of Elon, Tracy Hodgin and husband Jeff of Gibsonville, and Jessica Woodward and husband Loran of Liberty; son, Kenneth Pryor of Reidsville; five grandchildren: Chase Forbes, Hailey Forbes, Abby Woodward, Carter Woodward and Noah Hodgin; brothers: Glen Pryor (Judy) of Graham and Ronald Pryor (Vickie) of Burlington; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Pryor.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, November 7, 2020 at Shiloh United Methodist Church.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  Phillip will be available for viewing from 1:00pm to 5:00pm Friday, November 6, 2020 at Lowe Funeral Home.  The family will be at the residence.
