Rachel Kathleen Bollinger

Rachel K. Bollinger, 84, of Burlington, NC. Formerly of Hopewell, VA, passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2024. She was the daughter of the late Kirby F. and Louise Ayers Bollinger and was preceded in death by her sister, Patricia B. Chappell and brother-in-law, Claude F. Gibson.

 She is survived by her two sons; Lewis John Basil of Whitsett, NC and Anthony (Tony) F. Basil and wife, Amy of Gibsonville, NC; five grandchildren, Noah, Dana, Ariel, Sam and Taylor Basil; one sister, Brenda J. Gibson of Ozark, AL; brother, Wiley F. Bollinger of Highland Springs, VA; niece, Tina L. Weatherford; nephews, Bert Schneider, Wiley Jr., Brian, Greg, Johnnie, Steve Bollinger and Kevin Gibson.

 A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at 10:00AM on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel in Burlington, NC by Rev. Ken Smith. The interment will be at Southlawn Memorial Park, 1911 Birdsong Road, South Prince George, VA at a future date.
