Ralph Cenci

Ralph R. Cenci, 84, of 612 Brownstone Dr. passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2007 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. He was married to Marie Bocian Cenci for 57 years and the son of the late Nicola and Anna Scillo Cenci. Ralph was a native of Pittsburgh, served in the US Army during WW II including the Battle of the Bulge, he worked for Pittsburgh Testing Labs for 44 years and before retiring and moving to Gibsonville, NC. Ralph was a fun loving family man who will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Survivors include his wife of the home, a daughter Lynne Wentz of Elon,NC, a son Richard Cenci of Greensburg, PA, brothers; Pat Cenci and Nick Cenci both of Pittsburgh, a brother-in-law Francis Bocian of FL and four grandchildren. There will be a funeral mass celebration 10:00 AM Friday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Burlington, NC. Interment will follow in Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 9:15-9:45 AM Friday prior to the service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718.
