Mebane, NC Richard Lee Burdeshaw, age 49, went home to be with his Lord and Saviour on Saturday, June 9, 2012 at his home surrounded by his family. He was the husband of 18 years to Marisol Ogando Burdeshaw who survives. Richard was the Vice President of Alamance Farmers Mutual Insurance Company located in Graham. He was a member of Grace Reformed Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He was a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the N C Certified Public Accountants. Richard was a devoted Christian and a loving husband, father and son. In the past weeks of his illness he rejoiced in verse 24 in the Gospel of John chapter 17 when Jesus prayed "Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world." Richard is survived by his wife of the home; daughters, Jael Noemi Burdeshaw and Victoria Elaine Burdeshaw and a son, Joseph Daniel Burdeshaw all of the home; mother, Ruth Waters Burdeshaw of Napa, Idaho; sisters, Susan B. Franklin and her husband, Curtis of Napa, Idaho and Elisabeth B. Wilson and her husband, Brian of Warner Robins, Georgia; brother, Robert A. Burdeshaw and his wife, Shannon of Wilmington, Delaware. He was preceded in death by his father, Dexter Hancel Burdeshaw. A graveside service to celebrate his life will be held on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at 2:00 pm at the Hawfields Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Mebane by Pastor Gary Hendrix. A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 15, 2012 at 7:00pm by Pastor Stu Johnston at Grace Reformed Baptist Church located at 939 S. Third Street, Mebane, NC.
