Richard Craig LePors

Richard Craig LePors, 65, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 15, 2022.He was born in Jefferson City, Missouri to the late Ret. Major Charles Lepors and Mary Sheppard LePors and was the husband of 35 years to Teresa Wilson LePors who survives.

Richard was employed with Measurement, Inc. for many years. He was a proud graduate of NC State University. Richard was an avid Pack Football and basketball supporter and enjoyed playing tennis and taking beach trips with his wife. He loved working in his yard, growing flowers, and searching for the “perfect” tomato to grow each year.

Survivors include his wife, Teresa W. LePors of the home, 2 feline companions, “Daisy” and “Blackjack”; sisters, Patty Kelly and husband, Jay of Falls Church, Virginia, Janice Coleman and husband, Chuck of Euliss, Texas and Laurie LePors Penn of Johnson City Tennessee; brothers, Ronnie LePors and wife, Susan of Clearwater, Florida and Michael LePors and wife Gloria of Concord, North Carolina; numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A service to celebrate his life will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Andy Wood.  The family will receive friends from 12:30-1:45pm prior to the service. A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday, August 21, 2022 at Roseboro Cemetery in Roseboro, NC by Rev. Andy Wood.
