Robert Bullard, Sr.

Robert Marchael “Bob” Bullard, Sr., 76, passed away on Friday, February 5, 2021 at his residence.  He was the son of the late Crayden Ashley and Mary Elizabeth “Betty” Bullard and was married for 31 years to Karen Loy Bullard who survives.

He was a U.S. Army veteran.  He was a Christian and his faith was important to him as displayed in his interest and support of missions, especially Mission Link International and Samaritan’s Purse.  Bob worked for LabCorp for 21 years and after retiring he really enjoyed fishing in his spare time and became a member of the Alamance County Bassmasters.  He also enjoyed shagging, beach music and being a DJ who was named to the DJ Hall of Fame.

He is survived by his wife, Karen; daughter, Melanie McCormick; son, Marchael Bullard (Carmen); ten grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; sister, Elizabeth Chastain and brother, Donnie Bullard (Mitzi).

The funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Bud Wrenn with interment to follow in Friendship United Methodist Church Cemetery.  Public viewing will be available Tuesday from 8:00-5:00 and Wednesday 8:00-10:45 AM at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory.
