Robert Allen

Twin Lakes – Robert R. Allen, 84, passed away on Sunday, May 23, 2021 while at Twin Lakes Healthcare facility.  He was born on August 17, 1936 in Covington, KY to the late Robert Henry and Rose Louise Miller Allen.

Robert retired as a commercial artist.  He was referred to as “The President” at the healthcare facility by residents and staff.  He was also a big John Wayne admirer. He attended Harvest Baptist Church.

Robert is survived by his son, Greg Allen (Susan) from Ohio; daughters: Cathy Egbert (Chuck) of Ohio and Karen Allen of Colorado; grandchildren: Jacob Allen, Taylor Becker (Rob), Elizabeth Egbert, Isaac Egbert, Anna Egbert, Aidan Egbert, Emma Egbert, and Isaiah Egbert; sister, Marilyn Freed.

Along with his parents, Robert was preceded in death by two sisters: Shirley Jobe and Dorothy Blincoe.
