Roger John Beauchesne, 85, of 2522 Pitt Rd., died Thursday, March 15, 2007 at Rehabilitation and Healthcare of Alamance after a brief illness. A native of Manchester, NH, he was the son of the late Oliver Beauchesne and the late Lumina Beauchesne and was married for over 65 years to Onie Allison Beauchesne, who died in 2006. Mr. Beauchesne was a self employed building contractor and a U. S. Army Veteran, serving in WWII. He was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church, was a charter member of the Alamance County Homebuilders Association and a member of the Shallowford Community Club. Mr. Beauchesne was survived by his son, Ernest R. Beauchesne and his wife, Julie, of Burlington; a grandson, Jonathan E. Beauchesne of Haw River; a sister Rita Beauchesne of Manchester, NH; and a brother, Robert Beauchesne of Manchester, NH. He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; and a brother, Albert Beauchesne. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, March 17, 2007 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Worth N. Watts. Interment will follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Friday evening at the funeral home and other times at the home.
