Roger Wade

Roger Gwynn Wade, age 58, of 2402 Mountain View Rd., passed away at 1:00 AM, Monday August 28, 2006 at his home. A native of Caswell County, he was husband of Helen Robbins Wade and son of the late Dewey Thomas and Doris Helen Fuqua Wade. He was a hosiery mill employee working at B & D Hosiery, Pickett Hosiery and Elizabeth Mead Hosiery. He was an Army veteran. Mr. Wade is survived by his wife Helen Robbins Wade of the home; son, Roger Gwynn Wade, Jr. and wife Marie of Pelham; daughter Doris Helen Wade and husband Luther Starnes of Semora; 9 grandchildren, Roger Grant Wade, Doris Cheyenne Wade, Ariannia Michelle Wade, J.C. Cates, Brandon Cates, Benjamin Starnes, Raymond Starnes, Nickie Starnes and Luther Starnes, III; 1 great granddaughter, Angel Solebee; 2 brothers, Melvin Thomas Wade and Donald Lee Wade; stepmother, Lucy Mae Hutchinson Wade of Burlington. He was preceded in death by his parents and a half brother, Larry Edwards. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday August 30, 2006 at the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Tommy Love. Mr. Wade will remain at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory through the funeral service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 Tuesday.
