Samuel Anderson

Samuel "Sam" Kelley Anderson, 96, passed away Thursday, June 5, 2014. He was the husband of the late Frances Ingle Anderson. He was born September 14, 1917 in Stokes County to the late S.K. and Ida Cobbler Anderson. Sam retired from Atwater Ford and he was a member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church. Survivors include his daughter Pat Smith and her husband Russell of McLeansville, a son Samuel Anderson and wife of Burlington, two grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, twelve siblings and a granddaughter Kathy Smith. There will be a graveside service 2:00 PM Saturday at Alamance Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made Springwood Presbyterian Church, 1422 Springwood Church Rd, Whitsett, NC, US, 27377.
