Sarah Hicks Farlow

     Sarah excelled in sales and was employed with CCB, WGHP TV, Hewitt Packard and later with Blethen Staffing in personal placement. She attended Ireland Street Chapel where she played the organ for many years. She was a gifted musician and enjoyed serving the Lord with her talents. Sarah had a quick wit and easily made friends. She loved all types of animals and especially loved horseback riding. In her earlier years she played on a women’s softball team and she loved traveling with her family and friends.

     Sarah is survived by her sisters, Betty Duncan and husband, Patrick and Ellen Hursey and husband, Charles; seven nieces and nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; her nephew, John Duncan and her great niece, Elizabeth “Lizzy” Hursey.

     A graveside service to celebrate her life will be held on Monday, March 28, 2022 at 4:00pm at Pine Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:30-3:30pm at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory prior to the service.
