Scott Albright

Mr. Scott Alan Albright, age 49, of 6801 Payne Hardy Rd., died Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at Wesley Long Community Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Randolph County, he was the son of Floyd J. Albright and Sandra B. Albright, who both survive. He graduated from Northeast Guilford High School in 1980 and was previously employed with Executive Delivery Furniture Company. He was a very active member of Apple's Chapel Christian Church, where he served as a Deacon and longtime Sunday School teacher. He was also a member of Gideon's International. Survivors include his parents of Gibsonville; a brother, Jeff Albright and his wife, Sherry, of Charlotte; and his nieces and nephew, Lindsay Albright, Sara Albright and Matthew Albright. He was preceded in death by his brother, Dale Albright; and grandparents, Lorraine Barton and Dewey and Mae Albright. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, June 2, 2012 at Apple's Chapel Christian Church by Rev. C. Allen Myers, III. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
